Sarah was a great and friendly host, taking good care of us. We had a wonderful time in the relaxed and beautiful atmosphere, and even saw a wedge-tail eagle and a kite. We definitely recommend staying in this beautiful tiny home.

Great place to stay and very relaxing. Loved it 😊 Wish we organised to meet the goats. Might note that my maps took me through a pretty long bumpy dirt road that might be rough in a smaller car, lucky I had a 4wd. Might have just been my maps though and there could be a better entrance.

Loved our stay! Beautiful view and very peaceful, we had a beautiful visitor come by named waffles which was a lovely surprise. One thing to note there is no oven at all, so cooking will be done by a small pan on the stove top 🙂

Absolutely gorgeous position and place. Loved the “tiny” environment. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom and shower were fine. WE loved the view and ambience on a summer evening: so close to the city but surrounded by space!!

Amazing location of this Tiny house! We loved checking out the views of the mountains and vineyards in the distance. Daniel & Sarah on the property were so welcoming and even offered for us to help feed their goats - was a great experience and would definitely do it again.

My friend and I had a lovely stay in Sarah and Daniel’s tiny home. Everything we could have possibly needed was supplied. The views were gorgeous and we really loved learning about their farm. The goats were so cute and friendly too! Highly recommend.

Was a pleasure staying at Sarah and Daniel’s tiny home. The view was epic and being inline with Melbourne airports flight path, you were able to see all the planes coming in to land, with little to no overhead noise. Milking the goats was of course the highlight, and meeting in Woodend to taste the products of their labour was great. Would happily stay again!

First time in a tiny house and loved it. Great views towards the valley and of the morning sunrise. Sarah was a great host and it was really interesting to help out and learn about the feeding and milking of the cute goats!

This was our first staycation in tiny houses and we absolutely fell in love with this beautiful place.Clean and beautiful, just as advertised! The view from the room at night was amazing.The restroom is well equipped, the tiny house is bright and spacious. The bed is so comfortable. Love it! We are thankful to Daniel & Sarah for making us part of their morning goat milking activity. Thank you for hosting us. Tip for upcoming travellers : As the location is interior, we carried sufficient food & cooking provisions with us & made the most of it with breathtaking view.

Worth the experience if you're looking for something unique,off the grid and taking a few days to get away from the hustle and bustle. Highly recommend the Valley View House which gets the best view of the valley and the morning sun which makes the view waking up quite special. The compost toilet will take some getting used to but it was surprisingly clean and does not smell at all. Sarah cleans this out daily too. Goat Milking experience is a must, and ask to purchase their halloumi as well as its delicious! Recommend also bringing: -bottles of water - a hot water flask to keep boiled water hot for a longer period of time (especially if going over winter) - a highly absorbant towel (for drying your hair if you prefer a shower before bed as there hairdryers don't work)

Wonderful cosy little place with amazing views. The weather was dreary so we just lit the fire and bunkered down for a few days. The host is nearby for anything you need but at the same time you feel like the only people in the world. Also, super comfy bed and great sheets!

We had the most amazing weekend getaway here. The photos don’t do the views justice, what a hidden gem. The space is so cozy and romantic and perfect for 2. The host was so amazing and helpful, we had some issues with our car and our host was so kind and accommodating to us. We also got to meet some of the cute little goats they had in the property, super friendly and adorable. The best weekend away, thank you so much Sarah!

Our stay at Sarah’s place was great - beautiful and peaceful surroundings, perfect to get away from the city life. We couldn’t milk the goats as they were being dried up for winter but Sarah arranged for us to feed them, which we really enjoyed. Recommend this little spot!

Very cosy cabin! Perfect for a short staycation!

We had a great time in this sweet little space! The views were lovely, the bed was comfortable, and the teeny fireplace was much appreciated for the cold nights. Our greyhound also had a wonderful time, though he took up half of the floor space! The goats were lovely to say hello to, and overall it was a very peaceful and cozy weekend.

Absolutely recommend visiting Sarah’s charming tinyhome! Watching the stars and planes fly by and waking up to breathtaking views was a highlight. Our puppy had the best time sniffing around and finding crickets to play with. Sarah’s farm tour was delightful, especially getting the chance to interact with her endearing goats and even try our hand at milking them. A truly memorable experience.

I was especially grateful that the accommodation was pet-friendly, allowing me to bring along my furry friend. The cozy atmosphere and well-equipped amenities ensured that I had a great time during my stay. Overall, it was a memorable and highly enjoyable experience.

Absolutely lovely place with a beautiful view. We had some trouble finding it but I was able to reach Sarah immediately and she walked me through it. You get a beautiful sunrise in the morning and Romsey (nearby town) is lovely. The only thing to comment on was that I'd hoped to be away from everything and everyone but there are 2 other cabins (one other tiny house and one igloo looking cabin) about 50m away with nothing really in between. Other than that, it really was the perfect location.

Thank you very much for having us, our stay was perfect for just one night. We brought our pup Toby and he loved it. Sara our host was easily contactable and accommodating. Very clean and tidy and had everything we needed. We had a visit from the resident Labrador and she was very cute and friendly, seen the goats and horses . I took a chill trip with just my pup, and it was pure vibes. I was a bit worried the wind might be too much, but it was totally fine! Actually the swaying reeds made it even better. Spotted some wallabies during a night walk, and the goats? Absolutely adorable!! Hot water was on point, and the stove had solid power, so cooking was easy. The tracking around Sanatorium Lake was also fantastic. Thanks for the amazing stay! Will 100% come back when I need a mental reset.

Beautiful property. Far enough away from the main house and other tiny home to feel private. Smaller than other tiny homes but had all the basic essentials.

We were looking for a short retreat away from our busy lives and this was the perfect place for it. We really enjoyed the serenity and cosy feeling this place had and not to mention the amazing views surrounding the house. We had an opportunity to spend time with the goats and were thrilled to go on a tour of the farm hosted by Sarah. Overall the house was well equipped with everything we needed for our short stay and the hosts made us feel really welcome.

Sarah's farm is peacefully located away from main freeway and road. We loved the opportunity to tour the farm and "help" with feeding the goats, see the cutest newly born baby goats. The view out of the tiny house is spectacular! The tiny house was warm and well equipped albeit not fully (e.g. kitchen utensils provided, salt pepper but missing oil, scrubber and paper towel for instance). It's not the end of the world however, just have to bring some of those if you are planning to cook during stay. I think the biggest downside for us is the stability of the tiny house. we unfortunately chose two nights where the wind was very wild. The tiny house shook left to right very noticeably thus made it very difficult to sleep. Despite it being actually quite 'grounded' and solid, it still very much felt like it was going to be pushed down the hill. this might be just a one off experience due to the weather but a comfortable stay otherwise, fire was nice and we didnt feel cramped

Really loved our stay in the Tiny House - one night felt like the perfect recharge. What a stunning location. We cant wait to come back, spend a couple of nights and walk around and explore the Valley. Lots of Kangaroos curiously checking us out, lovely goats to say hello to. The Tiny house had a great little wood heater that warmed us up so quickly. Wish we'd had more time there!

Great spot with wonderful views and a cute setup. Unfortunately we had issues with the fireplace which prevented it from being a 5/5 trip. The host has receptive to the feedback and has put it into action. I would still recommend this stay but be sure to read the fireplace instructions carefully!

It is a good spot for gateway! Amazing view with goats around. Sarah was very helpful and welcoming! Notes: don’t bring electrically appliances, such as hair dryer, small heater etc. As the electricity is generated by solar panel, may drain the battery quick if you use them.

Just absolutely stunning view, can’t wait to revisit this place!

This was a mixed bag for us. We ended up leaving midway through our stay and i wouldn’t go back. The property itself is nice inside but outside is a bit of a fancy shipping container, and a very loud one when it’s raining because of the flat roof without any roof space. We couldn’t sleep overnight with earplugs because of this. There is no indoor space to relax, and no covered outdoor seating area. This means if it’s raining and you rather stay dry, you are pretty much stuck in bed. Given it’s toolangi even though we went mid-summer it rained on our first day and it just wasn’t enjoyable. We were not sure about any walking tracks in the area as the house is on a private property and there was no recommendations from the host. All there was is a generic printed booklet from Tiny Away who seem to be renting out these houses. Lots of tiny flies in the area as the house is next to a large pond. We didn’t mind this but just to be aware. Overall poor value given the price.

It was a great place to unwind and such a cute place to stay for a short vacation. The amount of flies and mozzies were around during summer was crazy but we expected it anyway. Just nature. A side note, if you go back to the place after dark, make sure you don’t turn the lights on before you close the door. We ended up attracting hundreds of small flies and insects into the tiny home. Took us all night to clear them out haha! All and all it was a very well maintain space. Well equipped and clean. I was hesitant about the compost toilet at first, but it was clean and it wasn’t smelly at all. Our host Adam was very helpful and responsive too!

We really loved our Tiny Away stay. It felt perfectly secluded yet was only a short 20 min drive from many places of interest. The price was slightly too expensive for what was offered, but I would still highly recommend!
