Amaroo One by Tiny Away is a hilltop retreat located in Minimbah, just 30 minutes from Forster with breathtaking views of the 3 Brothers Mountain range, Hallidays Point, and the Pacific Ocean. It’s a working cattle and equine training property, allowing you to bring your own horses for training. Amaroo is eco-conscious with off-grid power and a pet-friendly fenced area. Nearby attractions include Cape Hawke Lookout, Wallis Lake, The Artisan Farmer, One Mile Beach, and Barrington Tops National Park.

A comfortable, 139-square-foot accommodation is set in one of the best tiny house rentals and serene locations with abundant natural bushland, easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities.

LOCATIONS
Guests have access to the tiny home and its immediate surroundings, but please note the main residence, guest house, and sheds are off-limits as they are occupied or used for farm operations. For safety, the paddocks are also restricted since cattle may be present. You can enjoy about 1km of roadways for walking or relax under the trees at the equine center. If you’re unsure about access or have questions, feel free to ask Paul or Anke. Guests who want to see the animals up close can request it from the owners, Paul and Anke. You are welcome to bring your own horses for training by calling Anke Hawke @ Balanced Dressage. The key safety rule is to avoid entering any livestock paddocks unless accompanied by one of the owners
- Wifi is not available - Solar-powered unit - Gas BBQ grill is available - Smoking is not allowed on the property - No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed - Guests are advised to bring portable power banks in case of low power - Guests are also advised to save energy to avoid running out of electricity - Pets should be kept on a leash at all times - An additional $50 cleaning fee applies if you plan to bring your pet - Please note that this is a PET-FRIENDLY property, and pet policies will be sent prior to arrival - Mobile reception has good signals for Telstra; Weak signals for Optus, and no signals for the rest - We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge - We kindly request that you bring biodegradable products to ensure that greywater runoff flows easily and does not harm the environment. Important note: - Keep in mind that BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban - For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain the cassette toilet and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. Amaroo One by Tiny Away is located 30 minutes from Forster in the locality of Minimbah. The region is known for its gorgeous environments, from the sparkling waters of Wallis Lake to the expansive views from Cape Hawke Lookout. While the nearby coastal town of Forster features fresh seafood, famous Sydney rock oysters, and access to beaches like One Mile, Amaroo’s off-grid retreat provides a quiet base from which to explore this area. The Barrington Coast is filled with great places to visit. In Nabiac, The Artisan Farmer serves fresh food from its café, bakery, deli, and garden. Cape Hawke Lookout in Booti Booti National Park offers a quick rainforest walk to a tower with sweeping coastal views. Barrington Tops National Park, part of the Gondwana Rainforests, is home to diverse wildlife and some of Australia’s largest temperate rainforests. One Mile Beach is popular with surfers and families, with a giant sandhill for sliding and frequent dolphin sightings. Wallis Lake is known for its clear waters, sandy shores, fishing, and Sydney Rock Oysters. Bennett's Head Lookout in Forster provides stunning sea views and is ideal for whale watching. Booti Booti National Park stretches across a long peninsula with beaches, headlands, and coastal rainforests.
