THE SPACE
Banyula Cove by Tiny Away is a charming tiny house located on North Bruny Island, Tasmania. There's nothing cozier than an island escape, far from the city's buzz. So swing by and explore one of Bruny's most snug holiday homes.

This cozy 190-square-foot tiny home features a lofted queen-sized bed and a convertible single-bed couch on the ground floor. It has easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include a flushed toilet, hand basin, and gas heated shower.

IMPORTANT NOTE: For your convenience, the toilet is connected to a septic system. All other waste (e.g. toilet paper, tampons, pads) must be disposed of in the garbage bins provided to prevent clogs.

LOCATIONS
Guests can access the tiny home and surroundings, except "The Bungalow", shed and immediate areas are private. Please take note that guests are advised to stay on cleared areas & paths. Pre-orders available with 24 hrs notice: - Firewood is free for the first tub - However, additional firewood is $14 per tub and must be paid directly to the land host. - Because shopping for food and fuel on Bruny Island is limited, guests are advised to stock up before crossing to the Island at Kingston (Coles & Woolworths), Margate & Snug (IGA)
- Good mobile reception - No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed - No wifi is provided but reception is good if you bring a modem - No smoking allowed inside the tiny home; only in designated areas - Make sure to turn off the lights, AC, electronics, close windows and doors when leaving - Nescafé Dolce Gusto capsules are required for the coffee machine (available Coles & Woolworths). Four Dolce Nescafe capsules and Two-liters of bottled Spring water will be provided in addition to the potable water connection ADVISORY: - Please take your rubbish with you on departure - Guests are advised not to leave rubbish outside overnight as this will attract wildlife - We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge Important note: - BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban - Due to the property's rural location, you may encounter inconveniences such as insects during your stay
“Banyula” means "place of many trees" in the Aboriginal language. Located on North Bruny Island, Tasmania (7150), it features a small beach called Banyula Cove, with Half Moon Bay forming the eastern shore of Quarantine Bay. Bruny Island offers many attractions — brochures and maps are available in the tiny house or from your land host. Vehicle access to Banyula Cove is only via the property through the tiny house. Local recommendations: Visit Snug Falls — a scenic year-round waterfall on the Snug River, fed by Morrison Hill tributaries.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Tiny Away. The property is so private and peaceful and the room was very warm over night. It is surrounded by bush and he a big dam in front of it so you can hear the frogs all night, absolute bliss! North Bruny is a great spot, hidden away from usual tourist areas.

Banyula Cove was certainly an interesting and unique stay. Nestled right at the top of Bruny Island, it was a really serene and peaceful place. One thing to note, the data signal was not as strong as expected, and we had limited connectivity throughout our two nights there. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and would definitely go again.

Beautiful place to stay. Quiet with wildlife a plenty. Everything you need in the VERY cosy tiny house. Super comfortable bed. Easy to get any issues sorted as the host lives close by. Friendly and accommodating host with good tales to tell and tips about Bruny.
