Mikkira Koala Cabin 1 by Tiny Away in Sleaford is a peaceful tiny house escape just 20 minutes from Port Lincoln. Set on red earth surrounded by vast native bushland, it offers total seclusion, rich wildlife, and unforgettable star-filled skies free from light pollution.

Enjoy an orientation tour to spot koalas, explore early settlers’ stone ruins, and learn about indigenous history. Afterward, wander freely or visit nearby highlights like Coffin Bay, Port Lincoln Marina, and Whaler’s Way for stunning coastal views.

This 139-square-foot tiny home includes water access, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking gear, and a private bathroom with a gas-heated shower, hand basin, and eco-friendly cassette toilet.

IMPORTANT NOTE: If you're booking for a group, we have two tiny homes, "Mikkira Koala Cabin 1 and 2 by Tiny Away," available with 24 hours' notice, ensuring you have even more cozy holiday homes to enjoy.

The whole 600 acre property (fenced) - don't get lost! - a guided orientation tour is essential!! The only restricted place is the owners house and yard (fenced) to preserve their privacy. (Also restricted is climbing over any fences or opening and going through closed gates, as then you will be trespassing onto neighboring private property.)
- Wifi is available - No pets are allowed - Gas BBQ grill is available - This property is suitable for kids - No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed - Please note that more extended stays or late check-outs will incur an extra charge - Mobile reception has no coverage for all lines, except Telstra, with limited coverage - Smoking is permitted outside the tiny house. Please dispose of cigarette butts properly in a bin. Important note: - For stays of 5 nights or more (or for bookings of 5 nights or more), an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain the cassette toilet and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding.
