THE SPACE
Sika View 1 by Tiny Away can be found on a peaceful rise of land in the county of Dorset, looking out across open valleys where the view stays wide and the mood stays slow.
The space around the home is intentionally simple, embracing the ease of tiny house living and offering room to slow down. Phone reception fades here, leaving space to read without distraction, think without hurry, and hear the wind move softly through the fields. Deer often pass through the surrounding land, especially in the early morning and at dusk, adding to the sense that time runs a bit differently here.
During the day, our mobile home feels private and still. It’s only 20 minutes away from the coastal town of Poole when you want a change of pace. Local highlights like the Oceanarium, Poole's Centre for the Arts, the Jurassic Coast, and Corfe Castle are all within easy reach. Experience a peaceful home base that stays connected to the wider Dorset landscape.
The 252-square-foot tiny house includes water access, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking gear, and a private bathroom. These amenities include an electric-heated shower, hand basin, and eco-friendly cassette toilet.
IMPORTANT NOTE: If you're booking for a group, we have two mobile homes, "Sika View 1" and "Sika View 2", available with 24 hours' notice in advance. Sika View 1 is 70 meters from the main house, while Sika View 2 is about 60 meters away. The two tiny houses are 10 meters apart from each other.

Important note:
- No loud music as it is a retreat. CCTV with audio coverage is installed throughout the farm, including the farmhouse and outbuildings.
- Some areas of the farm can be hazardous and are not part of the guest space. There’s no need to enter the farmhouse area during your stay.
- For stays of 5 nights or more (or for bookings of 5 nights or more), an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain the cassette toilet and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding.
NEIGHBOURHOOD
Crumpets Retreats by Tiny Away is by the rolling rural land of Dorset, close to Lytchett Matravers and not far from the edges of Poole. The village here is a working part of the countryside, with open fields, patchwork lanes, and local pubs that bring the community together. You’ll notice the change as you come out of the quiet roads and into Poole’s harbour region, just 15 minutes away. Poole’s waterfront, parks, trails, and everyday conveniences are all within reach when you need them.
The wider Dorset region has layers you can explore at your own pace. Nature reserves and heathland lie close by, offering trails for walking or cycling across land shaped by centuries of farming and wildlife. The area’s geography lets you see distant edges of Poole Harbour and the Purbeck Hills from higher ground, which gives a real sense of place to this part of England.
