THE SPACE
Farm Stay at Sheltered Paddock by Tiny Away sits in the peaceful countryside of Warrenmang - Pyrenees Wine Region, just an hour's drive from Ballarat. The tiny house overlooks a large lake and looks out onto the rolling hills of the Pyrenees Ranges, conveniently located near Summerfield Winery and Avoca Hotel.

For those seeking adventure, a scenic journey to Grampians National Park is just an hour's drive away, passing through charming towns like Stawell, and Halls Gap. Along the way, you'll encounter stunning attractions such as Boroka Lookout, Mackenzie Falls, and The Pinnacle.

It's a cozy 113-square-foot tiny home with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste holding tank, hand basin, and shower (gas-heated for hot showers)

LOCATIONS
Guests will have access to the tiny house and the surrounding areas, except the land host's private residence. We also have common restroom accessible to guests equipped with flush toilet approximately 15 meters from the tiny house.
- There is an EV charging station in Avoca which is 20 min away. - No mobile reception - No unregistered guests or visitors allowed - No smoking allowed on the property/tiny house - Firewood cost is $20 per night and to be paid directly to the host upon arrival - Please do not enter animal paddocks or yards without your land host's permission - Please note that this is a PET-FRIENDLY property, and pet policies will be sent prior to arrival - We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge - Keep in mind that "fence improvement" is on-going for a safer space for your pets. Hence, please keep an eye on your pets and have them leashed at all times. Important note: - Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present on the property - Keep in mind that BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban - Please advise that there will be some animal and tractor noise during your stay with us as we are a working farm that cares for animals and crops. - Wi-Fi is available for an additional fee of $10 per 5 gig. Password will be provided at check-in, as we operate on metered satellite internet. Please pre-arrange at least 24 hours prior to arrival. - For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain the cassette toilet and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding.

What's more, we're conveniently located just an hour's drive from Ballarat. Our local recommendation: - Summerfield Winery is highly recommended for its exceptional wine and wood-fired pizzas. - Sally's Paddock is a down-to-earth winery place that offers live music and hearty food options. - Avoca Waterfalls is a seasonal waterfall that's good for hiking, walking, camping, and nature trips - Taltarni Vineyard is a popular vineyard in the area that serves the best barrel room tasting experience. - The Avoca Hotel is a goldfields pub that serves food, local wines, and boutique beers served in a cozy interior. - Blue Pyrenees Estate is a great place to grab a bite with mouth-watering tapas menu options to choose from. If you're up for a scenic hour-long drive: - Stawell boasts a storied past steeped in the gold rush era. It's renowned for hosting the annual Stawell Gift, a prestigious footrace held during Easter weekend. - Grampians National Park is a majestic natural wonderland, featuring rugged mountain ranges, cascading waterfalls, and abundant wildlife. Tiny house is approx 30-40 meters away from the farm house. The property is located 50 metres away from the main house, in close proximity to existing shedding and storage, and an approximate 20-minute drive to the nearest township. Our nearest neighbour is approximate 2kms away from us.

We had such a relaxing and peaceful stay at Tiny Away with our baby. It was perfect. Beautiful views and loved how everything was clean from bedding to bathroom! We can’t wait to go back for a longer stay next time. We stayed in touch with Daryl and Tracey and they were very accommodating and helpful! Highly recommend!!!

I had a wonderful stay at this cozy tiny house, surrounded by beautiful nature and even some friendly kangaroos nearby! The host provided clear and detailed instructions on how to find the property, which made check-in a breeze. Although the phone signal in the area was weak, the option to use Wi-Fi for an additional $10 was a great convenience and worked well for my needs. Overall, it was a peaceful and enjoyable experience, perfect for those looking to disconnect and immerse themselves in nature.

My family really enjoyed our stay at the Sheltered Paddock. The tiny house has all the amenities you need. It has a beautiful view over a pond and hills where you can occasionally see sheeps and Kangaroos. The fire pit was a highlight of the accommodation. We sat by the fire sipping on a hot chocolate ( beer/wine), roasting some marshmallows and looking at the stars. Daryl is an exceptional host. He is very responsive and did not hesitate to help us. We were glad to see the highland cows, the dorpa sheeps and of course Millie, Daryl's dog :)

The view was amazing from the Tiny Home. Daryl was a great host!! He let us get close to see the highland cows and sheep on the farm, which was lovely. Would definitely book a stay at the Tiny Home again!! Highly recommend.
