This holiday home and farm offers a unique opportunity to disconnect, slow down and enjoy a peaceful and unhurried lifestyle.

THE SPACE
Whip Mountain Farm by Tiny Away sits in the tranquil suburban neighbourhood of Yarranbella, which is only a 35-minute drive away from Nambucca Heads. Crescent Head, Scotts Head, and Valla Beach are just a few of the fantastic beaches you can find, all within 34 mins to an hour's drive away.

This countryside tiny home is situated on the lower ridge and offers expansive views of the western side of the mountain, as well as distant views of the Pacific Ocean to the east. The setting allows for an immediate connection with nature while creating a clear separation from urban life.

What's more, we have an open fire pit for you to enjoy during your stay. You will have all the necessary tools and firewood to cook your meals over an open fire with primitive techniques, making your experience hassle-free. Or you can enjoy our luxurious "Cedar Hot Tub" set on a deck that offers stunning views of the mountains and valley. The bath is heated by an adjoining boiler and may take between 2.5 to 4 hours to reach the desired temperature.

A cozy 190-square-foot tiny home with a queen-sized bed up in the loft and a couch, which can be converted into a single bed on the ground floor. Complete with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. The bathroom, however, follows ecologically sustainable principles, including a waterless eco-friendly compost toilet, hand basin, and shower (gas-heated for hot showers).

GUEST NOTICE: Please take note that this tiny house is an off-grid unit that runs on solar energy. We advise guests to conserve energy during the day and only use it when necessary. Overall, minimal consumption is advised to prevent power outages when using solar power.

Guests will have access to the tiny house and its surroundings including the pathway down to the larger dam and the road to the smaller dam. Both are beautiful at sunset or early morning for a swim. Here are a few of the activities you can do: - We have a vegetable and herb garden called "The Patch" you are free to harvest during your stay. You can use them in your morning omelette or grill them over an open fire. You will find a book with all the information for 'The Patch' upon your stay. - We have a rowboat in the larger dam that you are free to use. We suggest packing a picnic in the basket provided and strolling down in the afternoon. This makes for a beautiful evening under the setting sun. - Our rustic Cedar Hot Tub is elevated on its own deck and situated to take advantage of the breath-taking views of the mountains and valley beyond. The bath is heated by an adjoining boiler and can take between 2.5 - 4 hours to reach teamperatue. Grab a book and relax or venture out and return for a stress releasing soak.

Whip Mountain Farm by Tiny Away is located in Yarranbella, just 35 minutes from Nambucca Heads. Yarranbella is a peaceful and serene place with lush farmlands and friendly locals who are always ready to welcome visitors with open arms. Just a short distance from town lies Macksville, a charming country town that boasts of life's simple pleasures - bakeries, supermarkets, pubs, and a fantastic art gallery. Located an hour south of the farm-gate is Crescent Head, the ultimate surfing paradise. Here, you can immerse yourself in the rolling waves of the head's point break and experience the thrill of surfing like never before. Our local recommendations: - Taylors Arm is home to the famous 'The Pub With No Beer' and is a short 15 minutes drive from the farm gate. - Bellingen is known for it's alternative lifestyle and is full of quirky shops, boutique eateries and our favourite place, the Bellinger River. Best-visited in the summer for a swim. - Nambucca Heads, a 35-minute drive from here, offers amazing surfing beaches from Scotts Head to Valla Beach. It's also known for fresh seafood, and Matilda's is the perfect spot for a Sunday seafood cook-up. If you love the great outdoors, there are some fantastic hiking trails to explore! Nambucca State Forest, The Foreshore Walk, and Green Island Walking Track all offer breathtaking scenery and a chance to connect with nature. A quick Google search for any of these places will provide you with all the necessary information to get there.
